Zeynel Sezgün is a freediver, making his living underwater for 40 years. He also runs a fish restaurant. We geared and teamed up and dove right into the depths of social media together.
When it comes to spearfishing, we were careful not to miss our targets! Being a very specific subject with a specific target audience, it was necessary for us to grasp a deep understanding of diving and spearfishing in order to create the impressive and engaging content, by participating in Zeynel Sezgün’s daily adventures.

We used engaging spearfishing and diving videos to capture the interest of our target audience combined with relevant and informative written content.
Zeynel Sezgün is a selective hunter who respects underwater species.
He’s been hunting the same pastures and fish in a sustainable way, respecting nature for the last 40 years. Communicating his respect for the species and focusing on safe diving also aimed to raise awareness of fisheries in general.
We also took freediving lessons from Zeynel in order to do some underwater shooting with him.
Holding our breath as we went deeper underwater for the purpose of obtaining various images by shooting with more than one camera.
We chose Instagram as our main tool of visual communication. Even with a reasonably low advertising budget, the account grew rapidly. ROI was quickly achieved with new registrations from followers and students.
